MANFI
BASICS
- 4 players in 2 teams. Partners sit across from each other.
- Each hand can have up to 13 tricks; win tricks for your team.
- Spades are always trump, and aces are high.
- Spades may be led at any time.

BIDDING
- Each player bids how many tricks they will win. The four bids always total 13.
- Bidding moves to the right, starting with the player to the dealer's right.
- Your bid and your partner's bid add up to your team contract.
- The dealer bids last and gets whatever is left: the forced bid.
- If the dealer ACCEPTS the forced bid, the hand begins.

REJECTING THE BID
- The dealer may REJECT the forced bid (unless it is 0).
- Every player then passes their whole hand one seat to the right.
- The dealer's team must now win 1 extra trick with the swapped cards.

PLAYING THE HAND
- The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick.
- Follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise play any card.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, unless a spade is played.
- The hand ends if one team exceeds their team contract.

HOW TO WIN
- Exceed your team contract and score 13 points; fail and score 0.
- Meet your team contract and score that many points.
- First team to 52 points wins the game.

HOKM
BASICS
- 4 players in 2 teams. Partners sit across from each other.
- Each hand can have up to 13 tricks; win tricks for your team.
- The trump suit is selected by the Hakem before each hand, and aces are high.
- Trump suit may be led at any time.

THE HAKEM
- First player to be dealt an ACE becomes the Hakem.
- The Hakem chooses the trump suit after receiving their first 5 cards.
- Winning the hand as the Hakem keeps the crown for the next hand.
- Losing the hand as the Hakem passes the crown to the right.

PLAYING THE HAND
- The player to the dealer's right, the Hakem, leads the first trick.
- Follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise play any card.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, unless a trump is played.
- The hand ends when one team wins 7 tricks.

HOW TO WIN
- Winning the hand scores 1 point.
- Winning the first seven tricks as the Hakem's team scores 2 points.
- Winning the first seven tricks against the Hakem's team scores 3 points.
- First team to 7 points wins the game.

HEARTS
BASICS
- 4 players in 2 teams. Partners sit across from each other.
- Each hand can have up to 13 tricks; avoid winning point tricks for your team.
- There is no trump, and aces are high.
- Hearts cannot be led until 'broken', or if you only hold hearts.

PASSING
- After the deal, every player picks 3 cards to pass face down to another.
- The direction changes each hand: right, left, across, then no pass.
- The passed cards received can only be seen once all cards have been passed.

PLAYING THE HAND
- The player holding the 2 of clubs after the pass leads it for the first trick.
- Follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise play any card.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick.
- No point cards may be played on the first trick.

HOW TO WIN
- Each heart card is worth 1 point; the queen of spades is worth 13 points.
- Winning tricks with point cards counts them against your team.
- If ONE player wins all the point cards in a hand, they shoot the moon.
The 26 points are counted against the opposing team instead. - The first team to reach 100 points LOSES the game.

SPADES
BASICS
- 4 players in 2 teams. Partners sit across from each other.
- Each hand has 13 tricks; win tricks for your team.
- Spades are always trump, and aces are high.
- Spades cannot be led until 'broken', or if you only hold spades.

BIDDING
- Each player bids how many tricks they will win. Bidding NIL means 0 tricks.
- You can also bid BLIND NIL before looking at your cards.
- Bidding moves to the right, starting with the player to the dealer's right.
- Your bid and your partner's bid add up to your team contract.

PLAYING THE HAND
- The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick.
- Follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise play any card.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, unless a spade is played.
- A NIL bidder's tricks do not count toward the team contract.

HOW TO WIN
- Meet your team contract and score 10 points per trick bid.
- Exceeding your team contract results in a BAG worth 1 point for each extra trick.
- Accumulating 10 BAGS will lose 100 points.
- Fail to meet your team contract and lose 10 points per trick bid.
- A successful NIL is worth 100 points; failing NIL will lose 100 points (x2 for BLIND NIL).
- First team to 500 points wins the game; reaching -200 points will lose the game.

CALLBREAK
BASICS
- 4 players, all playing for themselves. There are no teams.
- Each hand has 13 tricks; win tricks for yourself.
- Spades are always trump, and aces are high.
- Spades may be led at any time.

CALLING
- Each player calls how many tricks they will win, from 1 to 12.
- Calling moves to the right, starting with the player to the dealer's right.
- If the four calls total less than 8, the cards are reshuffled/redealt.
- If a player is dealt no spades and/or face cards, the cards are reshuffled/redealt.

PLAYING THE HAND
- The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick.
- Follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise play a winning spade.
- The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, unless a spade is played.
- You must beat the card that is winning if you can; otherwise play any card.

HOW TO WIN
- Make your call and score 1 point per trick called.
- Exceeding your call scores 0.1 point for each extra trick.
- Fail to make your call and lose 1 point per trick called.
- The game ends after 5 hands; the highest overall score wins.

TIEBREAKER
- If two or more players finish on the same total, they play the tiebreaker.
- A full deck is spread face down; each player picks one card and the highest wins.
- If the same value is picked, those players pick again until one wins.
